What are the password requirements for my account?

All users on all Gannett iPublish adportals are required to update their passwords every 90 days. New passwords require the following:

I've forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?

You can reset the password for your account by clicking the Forgot "Password" link in the upper right of the adportal home page. Make sure you click on the word "Password". You will need to put in your current USERNAME then submit the form. You will then get an email with a link to reset your password.

I don't remember my username. Can I retrieve it?

In the upper right corner of the adportal there is a link for "Forgot Username". Click on the word "Username". You will need to provide the phone number and zipcode that is set up in your account. Once you submit the form, you will get an email that contains your username and a link to reset your password.

Where will my Celebration appear?

Your celebration ad will appear the publications selected, in the designated celebrations sections and pages.

When should a photo be included with a Celebration ad?

Photos are a personal preference and their inclusion in your Celebration ad is based solely at your discretion. Some choose to use current photos while others select a favorite photo that has special meaning.

How do I submit a photo?

On the “Customize Your Ad” page, there will be an upload button for your photo. Photos must be in a .jpg format.

What is a good resolution for a photo?

A photo should be no less than 200 dpi at the size it will print. Photos from websites are usually too small to print well, even if they look fine on the screen. Images need to be high resolution to avoid looking fuzzy in print. Select a photo that was shot in natural light without a flash.

Is there a maximum file size for a photo?

Yes. Photos should be under 2,000 Kbytes or 2 MB.

What if the photo is older, will it reproduce with good quality?

Your submitted photo will go through a toning process to deliver the best possible quality. However, with older photos, it is sometimes not possible to duplicate the quality of a newer one.

Will my photo run in color?

No, it will run in black and white in the newspaper. The photo will remain in color on the screen but will be converted prior to publication.

Can I crop my photo while I'm building my ad?

Yes. You will be presented with cropping options after uploading your photo. Be sure the photo is of the individual's face with minimal shadows.

If I work on a Celebration ad but don’t want to complete it at that time, can it be saved for future use?

Yes, you may build the Celebration ad and save it. You will simply log in to your user profile and retrieve it when you’re ready. If you don’t have an existing user profile, you will be able to create one.

If I submit the Celebration ad using the self service tool and wish to make changes at a later time, will this be possible?

Yes, provided that changes are made before published deadlines. See the deadline schedule under the Pricing & Deadlines link.

Is the preview an accurate representation of how the ad will publish?

Yes. The proof you see on the screen is how it will print in the newspaper.

How many days can the Celebration ad run?

You can run the Celebration ad on a specific day or multiple days.

How will I know how much my Celebration ad will cost?

Our easy to use self service tool will automatically quote the cost of the Celebration ad upon placement.

How do I pay for my Celebration ad?

Celebration ads require payment in advance of publication. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Your payment will be carried over a secure connection.

How will I know if the prepayment of the order was successful?

The secured payment process is in real-time. If prepayment is successful you will receive order confirmation on screen and in your email, along with an emailed proof of the ad once the order is completed and you have submitted it for publication. Please be sure to enter an accurate email address where you wish to have the final PDF proof sent.
