What are the password requirements for my account?

Beginning March 19, 2018, all users on all Gannett iPublish adportals will be required to update their passwords. New passwords will require the following:

Additionally, all passwords will expire every 90 days and will be required to be updated.

I've forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?

You can reset the password for your account by clicking the Forgot "Password" link in the upper right of the adportal home page. Make sure you click on the word "Password". You will need to put in your current USERNAME then submit the form. You will then get an email with a link to reset your password.

I don't remember my username. Can I retrieve it?

In the upper right corner of the adportal there is a link for "Forgot Username". Click on the word "Username". You will need to provide the phone number and zipcode that is set up in your account. Once you submit the form, you will get an email that contains your username and a link to reset your password.

Where will my announcement run?

Our announcements run on Sunday in the Life Section.

What is the deadline for placement?

The deadline for online submission is the Thursday (10AM) prior for Sunday publication. Hard copy submission deadline is seven business days prior to publication date.

Can I edit my announcement after placing it?

You can edit your announcement prior to deadline for your publication date. Simply log back in with your username and password to retrieve your ad.

How do I pay for my ad?

All Milestone and Celebration announcements require payment in advance of publication deadline. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  Your payment will be carried over a secure connection.

Who determines the wording of my announcement?

You do. Nobody can tell your story better than you can. If you need assistance we will be more than happy to help you. We reserve the right to edit, refuse, reject or cancel an ad at any time.

What if my parents are divorced?

If they are not remarried, provide their names and home towns. If they are remarried, provide their names with their spouses, and their home towns.

What if a parent is deceased?

We usually use this wording: Mrs. Kay Smith has announced the engagement of her daughter, June Smith, to John Jones. The future bride is the daughter of the late Bob Smith.

How do I submit a photo?

On the “Customize Your Ad” page, there will be an upload button for your photo.

Will my photo run in color?

All color photos submitted will appear in color online, but it will appear in black & white in the newspaper.

Can I use multiple photos?

Our larger Anniversary ads may be published with one or two photos. Some customers like to share a photo of the wedding and recent snapshot of the couple today.

Want your photo returned?
If you would like us to return your photo, you must do two things:
* Print your name and address on the back of the photo, using a felt-tip pen. DO NOT use a ballpoint.
* Enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope when you send us the photograph.
After we have received your announcement information, you will be contacted to confirm accuracy and provide payment.
Always put your name on the back of your photo; use a felt tip pen, please!

Ad sizes vary, depending on amount of copy submitted.

Minimum ad size is 21 lines.

All notices are non-refundable. All announcements will also be available online on York Lower Hudson Valley.
